This app offers the ability to receive alerts for Gravitational Wave Events from the LIGO/Virgo/KAGRA Collaboration (LVK) directly on your iPhone. It serves both the members of the LVK community and the general public. The app utilizes low latency alerts provided by the Gamma-ray Coordinates Network (GCN) through GCN/LVK Notices, which are a part of the Open Public Alerts currently being deployed. To start receiving alerts, simply choose the category of alerts you're interested in.

The O3 observing run came to a close in March 2020, with O4 expected to commence in May 2023. The app will automatically download all O4 events and their counterparts as they are reported through GCN Notices, along with any related GCN Circulars. In addition, the app comes pre-loaded with selected Notices and Circulars from past O1, O2, and O3 events. For testing purposes, the app retains Notices for one Mock Event reported through GCN. The app features an interactive sky map that displays the location of each event, providing an engaging experience for users.

Alongside its event alerts and interactive features, the app includes a public Message exchange bulletin board and a collection of informative Links. These Links supply additional information about Gravitational Waves and the LIGO and Virgo observatories.
